I’m delighted to have my paintings, Walking in the Rain, has been juried into the Canadian Waters Online Exhibition 2026.
This painting is part of my series “It Rains…”, inspired by simple observations while waiting under shelter at an outlet mall. I was drawn to how people moved through the puddles, creating ripples and reflections that felt lively and ever-changing. The raindrops add a gentle rhythm to the background, tying everything together. Through this piece, I hope to share the quiet beauty and unexpected charm found in ordinary moments, especially on a rainy day.
My sincere thanks go to CSPWC (Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour) for organizing the exhibition. I would also like to thank the jurors, Helen Shideler, Margaret Roseman, and Gord Jones, for their time, expertise, and thoughtful efforts throughout the jurying process.
Congratulations to all the artists whose works received awards and recognition. It is inspiring to be included alongside so many talented artists.
