A Dream Come True

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that my painting, Walking in the Rain, has been juried into the Canadian Waters Online Exhibition 2026! This is a significant milestone for me, and I can't wait to tell you more about it.

The Inspiration Behind Walking in the Rain

This painting is part of my series “It Rains…”. The inspiration came from simple observations while I was waiting under shelter at an outlet mall. I noticed how people moved through the puddles, creating ripples and reflections that felt lively and ever-changing.

The raindrops add a gentle rhythm to the background, tying everything together. Through this piece, I hope to share the quiet beauty and unexpected charm found in ordinary moments, especially on a rainy day. It’s amazing how something as simple as rain can spark creativity!
