Enjoying Art, Cars, and Rainy Days Together (Markham Arts Council x Don Valley North Toyota)

I’m so thankful for the opportunity to share my artwork at Don Valley North Toyota. It was a truly enjoyable experience, and I’m grateful to Yuvraj Chopra and the Markham Arts Council team for making everything run so smoothly. Being part of such a welcoming and supportive arts community means a lot to me and continues to inspire my creative work.

This collection brought together art and automobiles in a unique way. Many of my watercolour paintings are inspired by rainy days—moments when the weather isn’t perfect, yet there’s still so much beauty to notice. Rain softens light, deepens colours, and creates reflections that feel calm and poetic. Cars, often featured in my work, represent reliability and reassurance, reminding us that even in gloomy weather, we can keep moving forward and focus on the bright side.
