Layout Study
I have chosen a photograph to use for a watercolour painting. This photo was taken while we were hiking at Bob Hunter Memorial Park. We captured some beautiful fall colours on the trail. However, the red leaves on the left were too close to the edge. So, I moved them towards the centre a bit. After completing a study sketch for the photo, I painted it in watercolour. Forks of the Credit Provincial Park is located in Caledon. It is a part of the Niagara Escarpment. The park is on the Bruce Trail. The Credit River runs through the park. The main parking lot is off of McLaren Road on the north-east side of the park, it costs $7.5 for 4-hour parking. From parking lot to Cataract Falls, it takes about 1-ish hour. There are some steep up and down paths on wooden staircases. Some of the paths are quite muddy. Today was not cold but very windy. T

Albion Falls
In Hamilton, there are many falls. Albion Falls is located at the Red Hill Creek. If you click on the Google map in 3D view, you will see the Falls on the map. It is a stepped and cascade waterfall with about 18 m wide and 19 m tall over the Niagara Escarpment. The best time of the day to view the fall is in the early morning because it faces to the east. There are two parking lots. One is very close to the Fall that you can view the Fall from a distance at a viewing platfor

Located in The Town of Mono, about an hour distance away from Toronto. The trails in the provincial park keep surprising you with the variety of beautiful scenes. We finished about 10 km hiking along the Cliff-Top Trail, Spillway Trail, and Walter Tovell Side Trail. They are the loops that connected. You will walk through the forests, slopes, and wooden bridges. The scenes are stunning. Pass by a pond which reminds me of the scene in the Rockies. I did a quick sketch here. Th
