I have chosen a photograph to use for a watercolour painting. This photo was taken while we were hiking at Bob Hunter Memorial Park. We captured some beautiful fall colours on the trail. However, the red leaves on the left were too close to the edge. So, I moved them towards the centre a bit. After completing a study sketch for the photo, I painted it in watercolour. Located in Trenton, the National Air Force Museum of Canada has 35 aircraft on display, both inside the museum and in the RCAF Memorial Airpark. Most of these aircraft are the actual ones that were in service during the wars. Standing in front of them, one can imagine how the crews loaded materials and bombs and operated machine guns on the planes. Some of the planes are rescue planes.
